Murder. Its an evocative concept, and not for the faint hearted. A moving and visually stunning exploration, inspired by Nick Cave’s legendary Murder Ballads album, Murder is the hottest show of Sydney Festival 2013.

Way back in 2008, I was involved in the very first creative development of Murder, at Carriageworks for Underbelly Festival. We then performed a remount at the Rocks last year, and since then the brilliant team at Erth have created a full scale theatre show based on one of humanity’s darkest concepts.

The promo includes footage from the theatre show mashed up with the remount last year, featuring your truly with some wild puppet screaming!

The show is guaranteed to be a feast for the heart, eyes and mind. Like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Check out this fantastic article in SMH for an insight into the processes and back story of the work.

The show opens TONIGHT and runs until January 19 at the Seymour Centre.
