Happy New Year!
And what a New Year celebration it was!
The beautiful Natalia and I took Old Mate on an Umbrella Theatre outing to Peats Ridge Festival for some fun and frivolity roving the site on the Saturday and Sunday. We even got a (somewhat nonfactual) mention in Time Out magazine in the lead up!

The sun was beating down, but there were plenty of merry makers, families, adults and teens out and about, roaming around ripe for an unexpected encounter. Old Mate had a great time, the festival atmosphere reminded him of his free love days, back in the 70s. He also tried some new things, dancing at the dub shack, limbo and hula hooping with the circus teachers.

And much to his delight, Old Mate had a lot of success with women. I even had to duck for cover at one point so that I could remove the lipstick smeared around his old mouth, that sly dog!
