Despite the cold, Old Mate had a great time sharing his stories with the young fellas at Winter Magic Festival in Katoomba this year! The local children were fascinated and delighted by the dubious old man, who had the Mums and Dads chuckling as much as the kids.
As usual, Katoomba Street saw thousands of people amble by, admiring handicrafts or dressed up in the parade. The event is one of my favourites and I was glad that Umbrella Theatre’s Old Mate could be a part of it once again. He was a great addition to the music, circus, buskers and other roaming the streets that action packed day!
