Creative Play is a school holidays program for kids presented by the Sydney Opera House.
Four times per year, the Sydney Opera House presents free activities for children. The activities are always experimental interactive artworks, often using new forms of technology. These artworks are developed with and presented by resident artists on a rotating basis. They all focus on allowing children to explore their creativity through play, and artists collaborate with children in a meaningful way.
Pictured are a range of different artworks, including Barnyard Mashup and the Digital Drawing Wall. These are technical installations that were commissioned by Sydney Opera House. Dr Inside Out is also part of this program, you can find out more information here.
Most artworks are available for touring or for purchase for permanent installations. Get in touch with Sydney Opera House directly for inquiries.
