Thought I’d introduce you to one of my favourite performance poets, Scott Sandwich.
Though Sydney based, he’s currently freezing his butt off in Finland doing a residency at Arteles Creative Center.
Scott performed a couple of pieces for us to an enchanted audience for us at last year’s Sydney Fringe Festival event, Mystery Bus. One them was the hilarious and tasty Sticky Date pudding poem re-enacted for you here below. Though the date appears to have been traumatic, I feel the results were really for the best. Who wants to be with someone who doesn’t approve of sticky date pudding as a choice of desert?
