Yarn Graffiti in Amsterdam, Holland

Duckie Blog, Street Art Photography

A pretty little piece of guerrilla knitting I happened upon while strolling one of Amsterdam’s many canals. It was perched right there above the ‘Homomonument’ which I can only suppose is a tribute to the world’s homosexuals.

For those of you in Sydney, there are a number of wool based installations around the city at the moment for the annual Art & About. They are new works by visiting Texan Magda Sayeg, whom they claim to be the mother of the yarn graffiti movement.
